Freedom Parts Locators, Freedom Parts Location ripped me off $1139.00 for a 22re toyota motor. They took my money and sent no motor

I order a remanufactured 22re toyota motor from freedom parts on 2/6/04 and here it is 3/8/04 and no motor. They told me they would shipping the motor as soon as they recieved my payment.

I went to the post office and got a 1000.00 money order and a 139.00 money order. I sent it to they next day mail. I call them the next day and they said they had recieved it and had ordered the motor to be shipped to me in 3-5 days.

One week later I had not recieved the motor, so I called them. The owner told me that the salesman who took my order had never sent the shipping order and that 5 or 6 other people had not recieved their motors either. He assured me the he had placed the orders himself when he found out and it would be here within 3-5 days. He also told me that the salesman had been fired and no longer worked there.

One more week goes by and no motor. I try to call and all I get is a answering machine and no return call. A few days later a friend of mine calls and gets the answering machine too, but about 15 mins. Later they call him back and ask what part he needs. He didn't know what to say so he asked them for the same
kind of motor I had ordered and they said they would call him back. He never heard back from them.
