Adrian Marcelino ripoff mis-represented himself, his company, and his service

I sent an email to National Auto Transport asking for a quote. Three days later Adrian Marcelino called me, mis-representing himself as a transport company. He told me he had a truck load of cars from a dealer in my area going to Las Vegas, my destination city. He said the truck could fit one more car and they were ready to leave Monday, February 23rd 2004. I called Adrian four times on Monday, asking for an updated time estimate as to when his company would be picking up my vehicle. He told me to call back after 4:30. I called back at 4:45 and they were closed.

Tuesday morning I try to call Adrian, and his secretary forwards me to his voicemail. After trying his extension six more times throughout the morning, I finally asked the receptionist what time she thought he would be in. She said he was in his office and asked what my name was. After a brief wait on hold, she came back on the line and told me he would not speak to me because someone else has my file. She would not explain any more. Every question I politely asked was answered by her, "someone else has your file, he will not speak to you." I told her that I didn't care who had my file, I need to speak to Adrian. She would not let me speak to him.

It turns out Adrian Marcelino is a broker who sells the job to a transport company. He completely lied to me, just to get my deposit. He promised me the car would be in Vegas by March 1st. As it turns out the company who bought the job, says the earliest the vehicle will arrive in Vegas is the 12th of March.

Not only did the guy lie to me, but he refused to even take my call and explain to me what was going on. He took my call on Monday and promised that "his" guy would be at my house Monday night.
