Extremely rude, disrespectful, ignorant

My assistant Erika works on an acct we have with a huge client of ours. She needs to call vendors to get pricing on the parts they are looking for. 9/10 they end up purchasing the products, however due to how big they are, it takes a while to process. Erika has called Hydraulic Express several times trying to get pricing and avail on parts we need. She has been told more than once that they refuse to quote us as we never buy anything. The receptionist has been extremely rude, no one ever calls us back, and they will not allow us to remain on hold for a quote.
Today I got on the phone with Mike (owner) after again we were being told that they refuse to quote us.
As a business we too have customers that call in for pricing and info on engines that we sell. Not all of them turn into sales. If I treated my customers with the same level of disrespect that we are receiving, we would never have a sale.
#1 Mike's prices have proven to be WAY HIGHER then most of the other vendors, however sometimes he is the only vendor carrying what we have.
I explained why we are calling for pricing and how we can't control when the orders go through, and Mike could have cared less. He flat out said "he refuses to sell to us". THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT COMPANY WITH AWESOME OWNERSHIP!
I guess unless you are 100% ready to buy from these guys, i wouldn't suggest calling in for a parts quote. You will get denied and jerked around each time
