Car Fax contains harmeful misleading information for sellers

Car Fax cost me $2,800.00 due to misleading information. I was selling my truck to a dealer who offered me $5,800.00 for my truck. Afteer running the Car Fax he came back and claimed that my car was wrecked and repaired and dropped his offer to $3,000.00 because of car fax. I had a trailer hitch on my truck. Somehow my trailer hitch got locked onto the front bumper of the car parked behind me. When I pulled out I pulled the bumper off the car behind me. There was not even a scratch on my truck. Car Fax reported an accident on that date and every place I went to pulled up the same report. $3,000.00 was tthe most anyone offered me because of car fax. Don't trust car fax reports because they only contain partial information and a distorted picture of the truth. Thanks Car Fax you cost me $2,800.00 I wonder how many other people they hurt.
