Steals your money & puts in bad transmission! Have your every paid $2,500.00 for a 1 yr transmission on a BMW?

In November we paid Cottman Transmission at 8221 Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans $2,800.00cash for a transmission job in our 5 series BMW. The transmission job did not even last a year.

We started noticing a change and took the car back to Ryan Mooney who test drove and said everything was ok. Of course. Agains in November we returned the vehicle. Again he said he felt no problems. Of course!!! They stole our money and did a bum or no job. We don't even drive the car every day because we have 3 vehicles and the BMW was our weekend or special occassion car. So it could not have been caused by mileage.

It is a terrible shame that the Cottman Corporation has bandits such as this Ryan Mooney ripping hardworking consumers off!!! This is a negative reflection of the type of individuals they sell their franchises to. Some of the mechanics are not even certified.

I want everyone in the New Orleans and Eastern New Orleans surburb areas to beware of the bandit on Chef Menteur Highway.

I will not rest until this situation is rectified. I will gather up protestors, I will send a negative report monthly to the Better Business Bureau, I will report to the Chamber of Commerce, I will notify City of New Orleans business permits offices, etc. I will take a stand for myself and the other people that have been ripped off prior and unless he is stopped will be ripped off in the future.
