Defective ford contour wiring harness

My 1998 ford contour like many others has a wiring harness that is defective.
The car no longer runs due to the defective parts that ford used to produce so many ofm these cars. The unique thing about this car is that ford continues to tell me that this car was never part of the recall that was issued. I guess they missed this one.
I have been looking for over 6 months for the parts and am unable to locate. This car is the se model v6 with a 5 speed manual transmission. Ford has also told me that very few of this model were made in the se model v6 with the 5 speed manual transmission. They continue to say that the car was not part of the recall and to bad.
The car is in perfect condition with only 93. O miles. What have other people done in this situation. If someone has a suggestion please e-mail eatmanmark@aol.com
