Bad attitudes and deception

Today I went to the Firestone location in Kaneohe to do my safety check. I was VERY unhappy with the customer service. First of all when I inquired about being charged $5 for a "tint check" on my last safety check the employee that I spoke to gave me attitude at how that service was required and that if I wanted to complain that I had to take it up with the state. The reason why I asked though was because I have never paid for a "tint check" anywhere else I've gone for a safety check and wasn't sure how manditory it was. Then he had me pay for the safety check and tint check up front which I thought was odd but paid it anyway. I came back 30 minutes later to pick up my car and after waiting an additional 15 minutes I was told that they wouldn't complete the safety check unless I paid to get new wiper blades, my tires aligned, and all my tires replaced. I told the worker that I don't have time for those services now and besides that can't afford to pay the $600 to get it all done and that I wanted my money back to go somewhere else. She then told me "what are you saying that you can't afford the $30 to get the wipers changed cause that is all that is required to get the safety check, all the other things are just recomended". But see, that's not what she told me at first. She lead me to believe that it all was required in order to complete that safety check. She then told me that I couldn't get a refund cause the paper work had already been started and that the paper costs them money so she couldn't give me a refund. So I asked her if she was telling me that either I pay for the services to be done or I just can't get my safety check? And she said that I could go somewhere else to get those things done but that I had to come back to them to get the safety check stickers. I was so upset at the deception that I just left without my safety check complete and out $20. Needless to say I will not be returning to get my stickers there and will be sure to tell all my friends and family about my horrible experience.
