I went to dealership to look at used cars. 2 sales personnel convinced me to look at new. They wrote up a bill of sales and told me that if I signed it I could go home and think about it and my finance over the weekend, and if I decide that I do not want the vehicle, they will refund my deposit and hold me to nothing. They claimed my signature is simply for them to check my credit, and so I can use the VIN number to get insurance quotes. They seemed very very nice, and after they assured me of the above several time, I signed and went home to think. Next day I returned for a test drive. I told them that I did not like the colour as I did not see the vehicle before I signed. They changed the colour and send me home to think and return on Monday with a decision. Needless to say, when I returned on Monday and decided NOT to purchase, they flipped the script on me. Now they claim they will take legal actions to make me pay. I trusted them. They lied to me. They scammed me. Had they not promised and assured me that my signature is not binding unless I come back in 3 day with a decision to purchase, I would not have signed. Don't buy from 401 Dixie Hyundai. They are unethical, and lack integrity and decency. Warn your friend and relatives. Do not buy from 401 dixie hyundai.
