Cars & Transport

My name is Sami and my husband Michael and I hired a company by the name of Carbon Fiber Creations to fix hail damage on our 2004 Pontiac GTO on November 8. As of todays date we have not gotten my car back. My husband Michael paid this company in full the day we dropped it off. Carbon Fiber Creations is telling us we have to come with a tow a truck and pick and up our vehicle. The car is in pieces and I have pictures of the car. At this point and time they are refusing to do any work to my car and will not refund our money because they do not have it. My insurance company is allowing me to file an additional claim but they are not sure this will be covered under my policy and my car may be totaled due to the fact that Carbon Fiber Creations has taken the whole front clip off the car. What was $2250 worth of damage is now estimated at over $8,000 in damage! The reason we hired Mona Simpson (owner of Carbon Fiber Creations) is because she claimed to be contracted by the Granitelli family (as in Andy Granitelli) and showed us pictures of one car they did for them a 2010 Camaro for the Sema show with Unrestricted Motor Sports which I have pictures of. We later found out that was the only car they ever did for the Granitellis, they are not under any other contract. We then found out that Mona Simpson had been convicted of Check Fraud. She did time in Prison for that. We also found out from other consumers that she has a history of holding cars for more money once the work is done and stating that she under bid the job. She did try to pull this on me about a month ago but I told her I was sorry she underbid the job and I paid in full when the car was dropped off and I was not paying anymore. I stated that since she had been in business for 13 years she should know how to properly bid a job and she would have to chalk her loss up to a cost of doing business. One month later her and her business partner are refusing to finish the work on my car and refuse to return our money and our car is completely destroyed. Our original estimate and contract with them states the work would be complete in 3-4 weeks. We have heard every excuse in the book from them from they were sick to their dog got run over to they ran out of carbon fiber and needed to order more now they are saying to pick up the car they are not working on it. They destroyed it and that is it. This company is a complete fraud. They also while I was writing this sent me an email trying to possibly extort another $8000 to have my car returned completed. But under the legal term of Bailment she is obligated to return my car to me in the condition she received it which was whole and not in pieces. We are filing litigation and if you would like the name of our Attorney because you too have been defrauded by this company email me at
