SERVC dpt took 5 days '98 CHEVY S-10 code trans trbl 7 TIMES SINCE 6/'03 chngd meltd o2sensor wire/no auth/no receipt/chargd my card 176 for rental

Repeat problems with service writer/manager/rosedale chev =cant find problem= havent heard back from warranty co in 3 days... Within 1st 4mos 1998 Chevy S-10 Stepside (sportside) Needs: tune up&new brakes, tran service, oil chng, inside fan motor, tires, mount& balance, align, bth backrest handles broke off. Pre-trip inspection =Did tranny service.~

2mos later. Got back from a trip to Montana did tranny again, just2keep mntc up... Started shifting funny. SES light comes on. Codes1870@local station. Take2 dealer~"service writer" (S/R) sez Universal Warranty sez-known valve prob but wont fix now, no history (4recall I assume).

You have2pay$200 MINIMUM (ded= shop charges) 2get put back together. Later"S/R changes story to"they wanted you2do a tranny service, #4 plug was fouled / changed" (I already did tranny twice, 1within 20 days) furious. I paid, picked up my truck... Within 1/2 a mile SES light back on.~Chev closed. Cllbck, make appt, get rentalcar. 3days later=call from S/R sez problem not tranny its air conditnr CLUTCH REPAIRED-warranty auth/paid&pd rental, I pay deductable$200. Drive off.

Happy. Finally.~1 mile away. SES light back on... Rrrrr. Cllbck. Get appt, rental. 4days, still dont know. Day 5=#4spark plug wire grounding on motor mount (funny, that's the wire next2A/C) I didnt auth. I'll have my station do/cheaper. U R sure that'll do it. Light will go off? Yes! Had station do wire.~light still on.

Cllbk. Mk appt get rentl. I wont pay. This sldv been solvd by now.$600 in deducts paid and numerous rentals... Find - solve - fix. ~ day2 took2hrs off work2show shop manager problems. I get there. SES light is off. Mgr drives around w/me with diag computer plggd in. Sez now evap prob.

Wants2keep4 further diag. Get call day5.=found o2 sensor wire melted, repaired. (never pre auth wme dont know how much it costs, never given option) your station that did plug wire mustve erased diagnostic memory (i saw diag mem on cmptr w/mgr! My station never touched diag.) S/R sez now wont code tranny. Pickup your truk 4wknd see if ok, drop rental. Assume warranty covered. Never saw a work order on pickup, &warranty shldve covered all then... S/R told rental car company to charge my card (deposit4rental)$176 for the car= never told me about it.=

MERRY CHRISTMAS! They kept my truck@least6 times@least4days each, &find PLUG &wire problems instead of the1870 computer code&Take4-5days2 find? &I have2pay the rental??? I'm sure they probably just disabled the SES lamp, I'm just2fed up&disgusted with being jerked around TO FIND OUT YET. It still shifts rough, and at odd times.
