Pohanka Acura
Did not fullfill the written and verbal agreement of our transaction. Ripoff

I have been trying recover $1536.46 from Pohanka Acura since May. I leased a new Acura 4/24/03 and the salesman stated they would pay off my current Honda lease with 3 remaining months plus the mileage penalty as part of the deal. He called Honda for the payoff came back to the table and stated the entire payoff including all mileage penalties would be $1600. My wife and I asked to verify if the $1600 would totally take care of everything and release us from the Honda lease and we were told YES.

We agreed and then found out months later the total payoff was $3136.46 leaving me with a balance of $1536.46 to pay. This was not the deal we agreed upon. The salesman and sales manager admitted after the fact that a math mistake was made but refused to make it right. I have tried contacting them directly and also with the help of the BBB and Consumer Protection Agency. I have proof in writing from the dealership, plus my wife was a witness when the deal was written.
