On Tuesday January 11 I contacted Southern Honda Chattanooga regarding a 2007 Honda VTX1300R for sale at a listed price of $5,782.00 and with Stock Number: HM07-410520 on their website. Salesman Calvin Steele assured me that the price was correct and I made arrangements to drive 4hrs. From middle Georgia to Chattanooga with my family to purchase this bike. I was in contact with Calvin several times prior to my visit and he even called me two days prior to my trip to make sure I was still coming. I even called him when I was 30 min. Away from the dealarship on Saturday January 15. Upon entering the dealership on Saturday, Calvin Steele then informed me that the bike that I was interested in had a "price change" of a $1000.00 increase. I immediately went to the front desk and told the receptionist that I needed to see a manager and she declined my request. As of this day, the bike I am intersted in has notbeen sold and is still for sale on Southern Honda's website for the original amount I wanted to buy the bike for.
