I used my a friends car to look for a job one day. Progressive was the insurance agency. The policy was not in my name neither was the car but i did have permission to use it. I was turning left on a green light and got hit on the side by another car. The police record had no one at fault due to lack of evidence and lack of witnesses. This happend back on November 17th. I just financed a car and need full coverage on it the car. Geico was going to give me a rate of $115 for full coverage with a $500 deductible. When Geico ran my driving record it showed up the Progressive put me at fault for that wreck. Now i have to pay $170 a month for full coverage. I tried to talk to Progressive about the situation let them know they had no right to do so when the police issued no citations. Now Progressive says that according to there investigation I was at fault but I do not see the evidence where they can claim that. They have told me straight up that THEY WILL NOT REVERSE ANYTHING OR CHANGE MY RECORD. They are very rude and will never let you get a word in and the minute you try to talk to them they will say they will hang up if you are going to be rude and inturupt them. Any help with the case willl be greatly helpful.
