Buyer beware

I knowingly bought a salvage car with the understanding that only body repair was needed and initially told sales personnel no problems with transmission and car was drivable. Honest sales person emailed later to say car had transmission problems and offered to sell another vehicle on their lot. Later spoke to his boss whom I guess was non too pleased with the sales agent and had him change his story to say all was well with the car. Desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Based on this new storyline I went ahead and bought the car. Closer inspection shows major damage to car including transmission. An attempt had been made to conceal a botched repair job to the chassis and body. An attempt to have them swap the car yielded zilch. Stonewalled after getting their money.
