On going problem with 1998 Toyota Camry

In 2005 my oil light indicator came on and stayed on even if thethe dip stick indicated full.

Fred Anderson Toyota of Raleigh presumably fixed the problem at no charge. Claimed it was a manufacture's problem where the oil turned into sludge (got very thick)

Now in I have the same problem, oil light comes on when there is no need for oil. To add insult to insult to injury, the car died on me on the highway. I had to have it towed.

I was told that the engine had seized, and I needed a new or rebuilt engine. I called Toyota Motor Corp. Who advised me that there was no recall on my car so they would not assist me.

I have had many problems with this vehicle, and it all started with the oil problem.

In 2009 it caught fire and myself and my wife got out just in timeor we would have gotten burnt. Toyota didn't help there either.

Please advise where I can get assistance.

It has cost me a fortune in repairs for manufacturer's defects.
