Will not cover collateral damage to my motorhome caused by recalled defective calipers

Workhorse has refused to cover damages caused to my Motorhome by defective recalled Brake Calipers. All four rotors have to be replaced as well as ABS sensors and Brake Pads. This caused a near tragedy since the brakes failed and almost caused a very bad accident.

The front wheels were smoking and brake fluid was all over the tires. I had to have the vehicle towed at my expense to their nearest reccomended dealer.

The vehicle has been at the Dealer for a Month and ruined our plans for a trip to Florida.

Workhorse refuses to be responsible for anything other than the calipers according to their legal criteria. This is a company that is trying to shirk their responsibilities and get out of this the cheapest way possible with no regard for peoples lives.

They are now a Division of Navistar because of the whole GM bankrupcy.

There were previous recalls on these calipers and they attributed problem to caliper slide pins which was a cheap fix under recall. I believe that they knew what the real problem was the calipers and it wasn't until NHTSA got involved and made them recall callipers.

Beware anyone with a Motorhome on a Workhorse Chassis.
