Alleged auto repair and starter changed and rebuilt not true!

They are giving me the run around and saying that they did a good job when in reality all they did was cheat and lie and say that the part that was changed was good or rebuild. "LIE"

Basicallythis is what happened my wife took her car to a shop that her uncle recomended to swap out a starter for a BMW lots of LABOR very difficult half the Engine must be taken apart to get to this or removal of the transmission no other possible way. I have thought about it day and night finally I would not have a problem if the starter would have been changed or repaired but upon close inspection of the starter all that I saw was tick marks knicks and dents a clear and obvious sign of some hack job repair indicating that all that was accomplished was that they smacked thecrap out of that starter to get to continue working for what another week or month? Not sure I'm very dissapointed in my wife as well for bringing this headache of problem on us. I have contacted the better buissnes bureau of CA and seeing what happens but anyhow I still want topursue and just do whatever it takes to get my hard earned money back away from these thieves. I even replaced and repaired over $1000 dollarsworth of parts when I got the damn starter changed I replaced with a used one that I got of EBAY for $40 free shipping I have reciepts at home in rergards to all this including the stupid SHOP BILL. I'm very ticked off and I feel super super ripped of for paying for a service anda PART that was NEVER EVER INSTALLED I just want to make these guys know that they just can't rip people of like that. The day after I swapped the starter after it left us stranded in las vegas the car wouldnot start no more at all. I knew than that thestarter was a bad one or they never changed it when I finally got around to swapping it which I wish I hadn't I spent a whole 11 or 12 hours fixing that car that same day after coming back from vegas and after I installed my $40 ebay starter for carolinas 1996 BMW 318tithe car guess what started right away. I went to the shop t he fallowing morning to see what excuse they would tell as to why the starter didn't work or why it was not replaced I never let them know that I'm an ASE certfied master technician never brought it up. Wanted to see what type of story they would give me and cought them red handed in there own lies. I said I will drop everything and walkaway right now and eat my words if you can prove to me that you replaced this starter or that you even removed this starter or the simple fact that I asked them to take it apart and show me exactly what they rebuilt... And the owner had to hide everything and said to take him to court... So herewe are know... The starter is still under warrantly and the recipetssays and states R & R starter that is remove and replace starter. WHICH they never did trust me I would know... They never removed the starter imposible the screws to remove the starter were so freaking tight... Plus there is a date marked on EVERY SINGLE BMW PART that wasever made and that date has a stamp and seal that matches that car... PROOF that they never did squat to repair but the tick and knick marks are there... I just want them to feel bad and guilty about what they have done to me and to carolina and the burden that they are putting me through causing problems that could be easily resolved if they were honest and just admit that there wrong and gives our MONEY BACK. I'm not sure how suing works nor do I really care but IF we could get as much as poissible for all the problems this has put me through and making me do some serious mechanical work on my vacationthat was NOT FUN... And get stranded and broken down on my leave as well NOT FUN... So if you can do anything david I will be more than happy to pay what you ask of me its a merly $250 cash but all the time and labor plus parts plus most importantly 2 days lost out of my leave that needed to go into car repair that was unexpected unprofessional andno HONORABLE AT ALL.
