Centrix peak 5 flat iron unlawful repossession, fraud, dispicable company, crooked

I purchased my 2005 nissan altima in my finance company started out as centrix auto. Through the five years i have owned my vehicle centrix auto changed to flat iron, peak 5 and now auto port folio services, inc. My car was paid off in july and i received a letter from auto portfolio serv. Stating that i owed an additional 9,000 dollars in finance charges. My first reaction was to tell them to go to hell, but i tried to communicate with them to find out were these charges came from. I was given the run around for weeks, and when i finally got the chance to talk with someone i requested a payment history from them and i was told to fax a request to them wich i did, and i never received the history report. This company refuses to talk with anyone when you question their tactics. I did some research online and low and behold this is happening all over the country to people who deal with this company. Their history show that when you pay off or about to pay your car loan off they extort money from you by threatening to repossess your vehicle for trumped up charges that you do not owe. My car was repossessed on oct. 1 and i am trying to find some way to fight them and get my car that i paid off back. I have made all of my payments and when my payment was late i paid all late fees. Once again this is happening to people all around the country and someone must do something to help people like myself to fight this company. We are losing our vehicles and our credit ratings are being destroyed. If someone out there knows what to do to stop this hundreds of consumers need your help.
