Ups
Uncaring truck driver

Cars & Transport

We paid to have 2nd day air delivery from HSN. We were going to have to drive 20 miles to pick up our delivery because there was no apt. No. Or it was going to be sent back. After hours of phone calls we were finally able to convince a supervisor that they COULD talk to the truck driver (cell phones?) and picked it up late on a Fri. At a business we could see from our apt. We were NEVER called. When I picked up the package the driver said he had a key to get into the office of our small apt. Complex, so he had to be familar with it. Yet he made no effort to call us or go to the office, where their is a manager, with whom he is probably familar. She could have called us, sent him up one floor or even signed for it. He showed me where it said "do not leave in office", if they didn't know it was an apartment, why would they leave that notice? Do houses have delivery offices? He didn't really need to tell me that I could write or print my signature. I learned how to write in graduate school. I also talked to a HSN supervisor and a UPS rep together and was told that I could not give the apt. No. (they wouldn't accept it) and HSN would be charged a fee if they did. So here I was on the phone with both of these people and I could not get the information delivered which a very unhelpful driver also made impossible. Give me a break!
