Hallsresto.com Repairs I shipped to him never returned. Lots of rip off complaints on the net

Found him on a forum for Mercury Cougars. Contacted him about repairing an obsolete clock. Said he could and promised a quick turnaround. He emailed me that he was shipping the part back with repair totalling $89. I looked up the address online to verify the address where I send the check - finding a LOT of bad press on this fellow and his shop. Verified that they were all talking about the same guy/shop... They were

I waited a few days to see if I would be getting the part back. No show. Emails went unanswered for over a week, no phone calls were returned. I finally sent a letter for demand last week - advising him that the authorities would be notified if I did not get my part back. He said he was on vacation but that he was back and would get right back to me with shipping proof. No reply to my dated emails, no calls. I can only hope others lean from this and investigate before they send off a part for repairs.

Do not do business with him. There are sooo many accounts of him ripping people off on the net, now you have no excuse to be taken.
