I have always wanted to have a car that has what's called lambo doors. I started to do research and after asking a couple of people, I was convinced that I wanted doors to be able to open at least 90 degrees. I'm pretty handy with cars so I was looking for something to be able to do myself (bolt-on kit). So I found this site (exoticcardoors.com) that boasted that their kit is true bolt-on, and that the door can open up to 120 degrees. After receiving the kit I was disturbed to find that there was an 8 page (countin both sides) instruction manual with very little detail. Additionally I saw that the hindge mount had no pre-drilled holes. At that point I thought well I guest I'm going to have to take this to a shop to have done. (1st disappointment) After taking the kit to 3 different shops, they all said the same thing. There's no way this kit will go past 70 - 75 degrees. After calling the vendor (The only way to contact them is by email or a phone number which they never directly answer. So you always have to wait for them to call you back.) After letting the vendor know of the issues, all I got were excuses and lies. The biggest one being, Well in order to get 90 or over there's a different mount point. 1st of all there was only 1 place to mount the shock. The installers pointed out that the shock is too short to go to over 75 degrees.By the way no information on the instruction sheet for different mount point. At that point I told the vendor that the producted listed was not what I got so I sent it back. (Big mistake) It cost me $180 to ship it back to them in Canada. So now I'm out $699 for the kit and $180 for shipping it back. A couple of weeks after shipping it, I contacted the vendor and now he can't find the shipment. That was the last I heard of him for 3-4 weeks. So here I am $879 out without nothing to show for it. All I can do now is help other people so they don't get scammed by this guy.
