True Black Inc., 808Tint Damaged door panel while doing tint

Beware - Lava Lining ownder David Kanai Sharsh has a mobile company where he offers to pick up your car and do the work (tint/truck liner) at a disclosed location since his business locations of Waipahu (94-208 Pupuole St. Suite 103, Waipahu, HI. 96797 (808) 671-6500) and Kalihi (1911 Republican St. Honolulu, HI. 96819 (808) 845-0770) have been either closed or damaged due to fire. Police suspect arson but rumors have it he set the fire himself. After seeing all these complaints I can see why.

The incident happened at the Kalihi location. He tinted my vehicle and told him there were bubbles on the tint. He fixed the bubbles. I was instructed to not roll down the windows for a couple of days and followed his instructions. When it was days past, while rolling the windows up there was a screeching sound. The speed of the window was noticeably slower than the passenger side. Called him up to inform him of the problem and he said he wouldn't be able to fix it. Then took it to the car dealer I purchased it from and they said whomever installed the tint damaged the door panel which is causing the screeching sound. The car dealer said that he would have to fix it or pay for the damages caused. The quote that I recieved from my dealer was $1000.

Now that I am trying to contact him, he is nowhere to be found. Trust me, he screens his calls, says his name is someone elses name. He's been doing this for years and it's time to put a stop to it!

Just called the number and he also mentioned a lifetime warranty on truck-lining. I've seen other complaints on the Internet about him and his claims of a warranty. Please search the Internet to see for yourself. Type in his name David Sharsh, Kanai Sharsh.

He has changed his address (business) numerous times but justice will prevail even though he's been able to hide well from others.
