Sloppy car service

I took my car in for an oil change and air filter. Somehow and with great effort, the guy got my battery cable clamped down in my air filter. I didn;t notice until my car would not start and looked under the hood. I had to replace the battery and battery cable. Sloppy! He had to see it and it would have been very hard to screw the air filter down. I don't know if he was an idiot or just lazy. Either way, I will never go back to Wal-Mart for car service. Shampoo? Yes. How bad can you screw that up?
