Advertised $36 lockout service, tried to charge $120

I locked my truck with keys in it. Looked up locksmiths on my iphone.

I called a local company and was told that the cost was $50 with a possible wait of 45 minutes. A somewhat sketchily named company, Mr-locksmith.info advertised lockout service for $36 and could appear quickly. I was in a hurry and money was tight so I asked them to come. I was astounded when the bill was $120.

I got cranked and called the company and quickly grew tired of the specious arguments and hung up. I told the bewildered young "locksmith" to call the police if he wanted but I was leaving after paying the advertised $35. And I did and he didn't.

I am not at all sure that other people in my situation would be able to stand up for their rights.
