Car Rental Ripoff

My father died on November 15th. My entire family gathered in Tucson. One of my sisters thought renting a car and driving home to Utah would be less expensive for her and her adult son than a one way flight. Because Avis would not accept her debit card, I paid with my business MC. To protect my boss, I asked the car to be insured just to cover damage to the car and property. The contract was printed with a dot matrix printer which was apparently out of ink so the contract was barely legible. We were upset and in a hurry so barely looked at it before signing. It ended up being approximately $200 a day for the cheapest car they had. I did call them but the person I spoke with said it was because the destination was so far (900 miles) which is the second problem I have since the mileage is supposed to unlimited. I feel that we were taken advantage of. The car was rented for 3 days.
