Attempted to overcharge my credit ca

I had reservations for a rental car at Logan Airport in Boston, the total was 221.04. When I arrived at Enterprise the first tried charging my credit card 650.00, that was denied. They then attempted to charge 620.00 and that was denied and it was when for the 3rd time they tried running my card for 500.00 my credit card company called me with a fraud alert. They were doing this while I was waiting at the counter for my paperwork to be completed. When I questioned them they informed me they are allowed to hold 3 times the amount of the charges on the card for security. Stay away from this company!!! I would have been scammed if my credit card company didn't call me! I left and went to and had no issues and it was cheaper!
