Ebay are one sly bunch

I went on ebay in march to buy a car and of course like many people only looked at the buyers overall feedback rating before committing to a purchase. I paid 2365 for a used pick up truck and thought i'd got a reasonable deal. I was wrong.

When i turned up to buy the truck the seller complained i had paid him incorrectly, even though i had used ebay's own payment system and the truck wreaked of manure. It also had a much higher milage than i anticipated - the seller had cleverly hid this on the ebay description page

I found the truck expensive to repair, a basic service was 177 and one of the batteries died after only a month to. I later discovered it is a common practice among experienced ebay users to bump up each others feedback and set the feedback to "private" in order to hide their shady practices.
