Basic Car Parts
Took money from me and now will not refund money for transmission that was return to there company

I order a transmission from basic car parts on 10/29/09 for the amount of 650.00 dollars i was told that i would get the part by seven to ten working days i did not get it until 11/18/09 when the guy pulled the part off the truck it look like someone had tore through the shrink wrap to get to the part also i noticed that the part looked rusted after removing the shrink wrap further and comparing the part to the transmission that was removed from my car i found that they sent the wrong transmission so i was informed by the delivery guy to not accept it so i did'nt i called the guy i order the part from and was told that he did'nt work there anymore so i went on to explain what had happen and i was told that i was supposed to have kept the transmission called them and they would have sent another one which didn't sound right to me so the guy to told me to call back the next day and the matter would be taking care of so i did

the next day i spent an hour trying to speak with someone that could help me finally after another half hour i spoke with a guy who gave me the name of a woman to call ha stated that should would help after leaving many message for her to please return my calls i was also told that she never worked there i finally talk to a guy named Jason who claimed to be a manger he told me that when they get the part back the he would refund my money so i called r and l carries the company they use to ship there parts they told me they was having trouble getting the company to take the part back they ship the part back on 11/20/09 it got to basic on 12/3/09 i called on that day and spoke to Jason again he told me that he needed to make sure that the part was there and he would refund my money back i ask him to give me a call when he was done i have yet to hear from Jason i have been calling every hour on the hour only to get his voice message all i can say is don't order any thing from this company.
