Goodyear is on their business card charged me for a service that would not fix the problem and they knew it!

Went to Total Tire care because they advertised a oil change for 10.99. Before I left it cost me 97.96 and the problem was still there! I asked them how they could advertise for an oil change so cheap and they said "It helps to bring the business in". Hmmm. Should have known something was up and turned around and ran.
Their mechanics told me that someone must have accidently poured oil into my radiator reservoir and that I would need a coolant system flush at 79.99. I am a woman, so I questioned this, I told them I had a maintence plan with the dealership for 3 years that had run out. During those three years no one change my oil but them. They have certified mechanics and I never had a problem. I was told by the guy at total Tire that sometimes this happens and I really needed to flush the system before this mistake cause more problems with my engine.
Total Tire Care told me that all would be good when they got done flushing my coolant system. Well it turns out that I had bigger problems. I wound up taking it to the dealership to have the repair done. The certified mechanic at the dealership, said that if anyone at Total Tire had been qualified to flush the system they would have known that their is a oil reservoir box that had leaked oil into my coolant system. Now this box is on the underneath of the car so when Total Tire care lifted my car on the ramps they would have seen or should have least checked for leaks.instead they ripped me off for 79.99. All the time knowing that I would still have the problem the next day. I told them I had to make a trip and they reassured me (as a women) that I would be totally safe and that the problem was fixed. I checked the next morning and found that the brown color in the coolant reservoir was still there after Total Tire Care had so-called fixed the problem! After a certified mechanic at the dealship had done the proper repairs that needed to be done I called Total Tire and explained to them that if they had the "master mechanics" that they had claimed, that they would have not taken my 79.99 and ripped me off! Well I was told that I should be "thanking them for finding the problem!!! The arrogance of this man on the phone who claimed to be the manager. I explained that I had been in this town for forty years and that "word of mouth" can make or break a business and that I would be sure to tell everyone I know how well they TOOK (care of) me for 79.99 At no time did they ever admit they were at fault for not telling me that I should take my car to someone that dealt with the type of repair I needed that they could not fix. I guess they couldn't meet their payroll for the week, I was probably one of many consumers that helped Total Tire Care of Port Orange Fla. Steal from me to pay their bills!
