Nico Buys Cars WITH BAD CHECKS

I was trying to sell my car so I had it appraised at several different places, including CarMax, and I remember the ad that I heard on the radio so I called up Nico Buys Cars. They gave me a $100 more on the appraisal than CarMax so I decided to sell it to them. They came to my house to pick up the car and wrote a business check out to me and told me to not deposit the check till the next day. I thought that was odd, however, didn't think much of it.
I deposited the check a week later and the check bounced. I was so angry I called up the company and they answered the phone so apathetically. They didn't seem even a bit concerned or suprised that this had happened... Like it happens all the time.
The girl who answered the phone said "Nico" is aware of this and is working on it and will bring me a cashier's check the next day. However, the next day, no one showed at the time they said they were so I called them back. They claimed they were having issues in the office and will be leaving then. Yet, they didnt' call to notify me that they were running late.
In any case, "Nico" called me back few minutes after we spoke and said he wouldn't be able to make it... That they've been having accounting issues and they don't have money in the bank; and also, that they had other customers to take care of that had same issues.
He promised to bring cash plus $300 for inconvenience the following day. I was furious at this point and told him he has no credibility and must bring the money before the day is over. I have yet to see the money, and it is a lot since it's over $6,000.
