Edwards Hyundai Subaru I Got Screwed and Didn't Get Kissed

I purchased XLT from Edwards Cash Cars, the used car division of Edwards Subaru Hyundai in Council Bluffs Iowa on 10/22/09. It has 130k, and was represented by the dealership as a sound vehicle. I paid $2600, which I felt was a fair deal. I drove the vehicle oround the industrial park where the dealership is located, and it drove like a typical vehicle with 130k. I dealt with a Don Green and with the so-called manager Mike Davis. All they were interested in was getting me out of there and getting my money. On the way home driving it, the O/D light started blinking, and it drove very erraticly at interstate speed. I took the vehicle the next day to my trusted mechanic to look it over, and what he told me appaled me. First of all, the tires which appeared new, had the sidewall cords sticking through. The front swaybar was broken, the front shocks were bad. I expect some of this as normal wear and tear, but to sell a car that is this unsafe is beyond me.
My mechanic also stated that he woluld take the vehicle to a trans specialty shop, because the O/D light blinking could be a serious defect. I took the vehicle to Certified Transmission, and much to my surprise, the trans had tons of metal shavings in the pan, as well as the transfer case was leaking badly and there was abnormal wear. So, to mmake it short, it cost me approx $1000 for the forst service, and will cost me $4100 for the trans work.
I went to Edwards Cash Cars today, and spoke with Mike Davis, the Manager for the Cash Lot. He basically told me he won't do anything—I bought it and tough luck. I then waited over 2 hours to speak with the dealership GM, Troy Ratigan. He also told me to bad so sad, so this sounds like a regular thing they do to their customers. I will be filing suit soon against these fraudulent shysters, and would recommend that anyone have second thoughts about buying anything from these rip-off artists.
