425% parts markup - false diagnostics

Had them replace slave and master cylinder (clutch) less than six months ago and since it went out AGAIN, had it towed in.

They said they would honor the warranty on the slave cylinder if I had the other problem fixed at the same time. They said the clutch fork had broken and it would be $480 to get it done.

That didn't sit well with me, so had it towed back to the house and had another mechanic look at it.

No broken slave cylinder and no broken clutch fork. No leaks or any other damage whatsoever.

It was low on brake fluid.

$12 fixed me up.

What a blatant bunch of rip-offs!

So... I go back and research the original work done... Seems they like to overcharge a tad for parts. 425% to be exact!
Yes, I did pay labor and never have a problem paying a surcharge for parts, but for pity's sake. Folks like this just take the piss out me.

Do not go there - do not trust them with your auto OR your wallet.
