Simon Gendelman, Fraudulent and unethical business practices, deceit, corruption, lacks business protocol

Cars & Transport

I reached an agreement with Albert "Al" Gendelman of Affordable Autogroup Co to purchase a 2005 BMW X3 for $22,400. I sent him a $400 deposit through PayPal.in return he sent me a legal "Bill of Sale" document. I also secured a loan for the vehicle within 24 hours, obtained insurance for the car, and made arrangements through a transportation company to have the car picked up and delivered.
While at the bank, we called Al to obtain information about the title, he said he would call us right back and never did. When I returned home that evening, I received an email form Al indicating that the "car had been hit while in his parking lot... And that he refunded me my deposit of $400". When I tried to reach him to inquire about what happened, he would not take my calls. Finally after calling him repeatedly, he accepted my call and told me the story about the hit and run at the dealership, which seemed inconsistent and very hard to believe. I explained to him that his story did not sound legitimate, and I wanted him to take pictures of the car so that I could see the damage. I suspected that he sold the car out from under me to another buyer for more money. That was the last I spoke to Al. Two days later, I had someone call on the vehicle and he told them that it had been sold.
Affordable Autogroup reneged on the deal we had, despite the deposit, Bill Of Sale, the Loan, insurance and shipping arrangements. This type of business practice is completely unethical and illegal. We had a binding contract which he arrogantly decided to breach, in the interest of selling the car to another buyer who came along afterwards.
A leagal injunction to prevent the sale of the car is being filed on October 21st, and I intend to file a civil law suit for damages against Albert Gendelman and Affordable Autogroup Co.
All buyers beware of this company! They do not honor legally binding agreements, and they participate in unethical and questionable business practices. They are not trustworthy and lie to their clients. There is no telling what else they will do to deceit the public or try to rip you off!
