Spanos imports.com Spanos Imports salesman Mark Siegal looked me and my son straight in the eye and told us lie after lie about the car we bought

Cars & Transport

My son is an American Soldier who just returned to the U. Safter 4 years of service, we told Mark Siegal (a salesman at Spanos) that he had saved his money while overseas to buy a car. (I am his mother). My son and I drove down from St. Augustine Fl to Spanos after finding a car on the internet that they were advertising, Once we purchased the car we found out that almost everything they told us was a lie. Mark called my son after we had left the dealership and told him they had located a black infinitie that he was looking for, and that it we could have it for the price we wanted.
Lie #1 Someone had been driving it and brought it back because their financing would not go through, (he had told us that you could not keep their cars for a couple of days to test, you have to purchase it).
Lie #2 The price was 995.00 dollars more than what Mark told us over the phone.
Lie #3 We noticed a cap on the drivers door was loose he said they would glue it back on, we discovered later that it was put on to hide the key lock that had been damaged, it appeares that someone had attempted to break in to the car.
Lie #4 Mark told us that the front end noise that we noticed was fixed, he said it was a sensor and they replaced it. After buying the car the noise came back we took it to the Infiniti dealership. The dealership replaced the sensor because it had not been replaced by Spanos. I later mentioned this to Mark and he denied that they replaced it at Spanos.
Lie #5 Mark told us that they put 4 new tires on the car, because the ones on the car were bad. When we took the car to Infinitie dealership the front tires were cupping and unsafe to drive on. Spanos put these tires on the front of the car knowing that my son was driving the car to Washington DC the next day.
Lie #6 I called and by accident Alex Spanos the owner answered the phone. I explanined to him the situation. Alex said he would compansate us for some of the 700.00 dollars that we had to spend. He said he would call me back in a few minutes, I told him we would wait to hear from him, I also told him we were on our way out of town but would wait for his call back before we left (he never called back). That was a lie, he never would take my calls again I tried to call him everyday for a week, I was told that he was not there and they would give him the message. I finally gave up and decided to write a review and warn other consumers about the rip off dealership called Spanos Imports in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Lie # 7 My insurance company was the one to tell me the car had a claim against it. Mark Siegal had told us that the report on the car was clean.
There are other details about lies that I could go on about, but I think you get the picture. Spanos is a dishonest dealership and I would not recommend anyone doing business with them.
