Ford what is going on here - Service from dealer and Ford Customer service

I took my truck to a Ford Dealer. They charged me $314.00 to replace three eight inch hoses to resolve an engine light problem. They then stated the problem was fixed. I drove the truck 20 miles and the engine light came on again. Ford dealer then stated we might not be able to help you but we can try. I took the truck to an independedt mechanic (on the advice of an attorny) who found the charcoal canister purge control valve leaking and a hole in the gas tank. I was standing there when all the smoke came pouring out. How could it have passed Fords test that they charge 95.00 for. What are these people thinking? I spoke to Ford Customer Service two times and asked that they contact me. Nothing back from them
