Just Brakes
Ripoff suckered me into their $ 99.88 brake job! Deceptive company

I went to Just Brakes in Port Richey Fl. Under the impression it would cost me $99.88 to replace my brake pads. After their "inspection" the manager Michael came out and told me I had some serious problems, and the entire brake system needed to be replaced, at a cost of $800 dollars. I asked him where he was getting these parts from and to please call around. A few minutes later he came out and advised he could save me $120. And it would cost $787. I asked if there was anything I could wait on, he told me looking a my two children standing next to me that it was dangerous, I told him to fix it, but save my parts.

The following day I took the parts to a local mechanic and asked if he could inspect them. He advised that there was NOTHING wrong with these parts other than the brake pads needing to be replaced. When Just Brakes was confronted (corporate) they said their mechanic would not have changed good parts. (They obviously don't know who the local stores are hiring). After having no luck with corporate my husband went to the local store to speak with Michael - suprise - he's been instructed not to speak with us.

It really irks me to think that because I am a woman, who went there trusting them that they would take advantage of me like this. They have definatley screwed with the wrong person.
