Buyer Beware! They will take you for a "ride"

Took the hike to Major World after reading the false advertisement in the Daily News. They advertised newer cars for under $10,000 and a weekend special of up to 70% off inventory clearance on their used cars.
Well immediatly upon arrival the cars we inquired about ended up being smashed up wrecks that needed extensive repairs to be safe for driving. So we go to their lot of over 2000 used vehicles. We fell in love with a 2003 Honda Pilot. It had 81000 miles and all the bells and whistles I wanted. The asking price was $13,999.
We sit down to start negotiating the deal thats where the fun begins. We offer our price with my kelly blue book value comparison and I get laughed at. But I had the last laugh when they produced the car fax report.
An angel must have been watching over me that day... The car had an acciden with "structural damage" which was fine because now my heart was in the car and I was willing to deal with it. BUT now my husband checks the carfax and sees a problem. According to car fax the car has well over 115,000 miles!!! OK we offer $9000 cash deal no more due to the discrepency and accident history. I never heard back from them after this.
Although I will be contacting consumer affairs and the BBB on these crooks. I got lucky and got out of this deal by pure luck but I feel sorry for all the people that walk through their doors. They have every intention of ripping everyone off and do not care about how much you need that vehicle or how much of a hardship their scams causes their customers. They lost me before I could get hurt by them!
