Moonlight cycle works money for nothin'

I recently bought a adventure 150 scooter from moonlight cycles of wilmington n.C. For $700. It broke down before i could get it home. After returning it for repair, when i went to ride it home, IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN. And again and again. 6 TIMES!

The last time they had replaced my 150 cc motor with a 48 cc motor, i guess they thought i wouldn't notice! And wouldn't admit it so that they wouldn't have to refund the difference in price! The thing was vastly crippled and under-powered, there's simply no way you could miss it.

After a 3 minute ride at 45 miles per hour, it cut off while in motion. It was smoking so badly that i thought it was on fire. I put it on the stand and ran; it looked like it was going to explode!!! And wouldn't start after cooling, i had to push it about a mile and a half, this time.

On returning it to moonlight cycles, right off the owners wife started telling me the mechanic that had worked on it didn't work for them! And that person was thier own son!!! They have steadfastly refused any refund or trade that didn't worsen the matter. It's as though they think it's o.K. To just take peoples money for nothing. Every time i mention refund, they change their policy so that i don't qualify.

One of thier so-called mechanic's even became physically threatening. I guess he was angered because i didn't just drop by the store and give him the $700. And then apologize for taking up his valuable time, and thank him nicely for his troubles.

I didn't realize there were people in the world like these thieves and liars. And they are horrible at it! But every contact i've made with them has deteriorated the situation.

I'm hoping they'll want to keep this out of court, when they realize that i am a credentialed reverend, and may just find a judge sympathetic to the cause.
