Auto Sales ripoff business from hell

Paid to fix without services rendered...

Took van in because engine was no longer running (previously bought from J.E.D.). I paid them $1800 cash to rebuild my motor. What they did was change the oil and put in a thicker oil that would reduce the knocking sound. The van ran for about 1 week until it blew up. I took the van back and all I was told was that the warranty had expired on their work.

When I inquired about the warranty, I was told by the owner that the warranty was from the time I drove off the lot until the time the owner could no longer see my taillights. I complained to the owner that this sounded unfair and he replied that "That's just the way it is, and the way we sell all our vehicles".
