US Fedelis
A scam. No Obligation? Yeah right!

I saw the commercial on tv as everybody does. I called US Fedelis to get some pricing information. When I sopek with the rep, I told him I was simply calling to get some pricing info. He then proceded to take my VIN number, something I thought he needed to maybe check my vehicle options or something. He gave me a price of $594.00 which I needed to pay right now in order to get my coverage started today. I then proceeded to get off the phone because I didn't have that kind of money laying around.
I was then told that once the call ended, I would no longer be elgible to get US Fedelis coverage. Wow. Why I asked? Because I could be trying to "scam" them to fix a car that was already broken down. My car is really in perfect running condition right now, but I am looking into the warranty because the car is getting up in miles and I know eventually something is going to happen. He stated if I hung up, if I wanted to get coverage, I would have to then pay over $250 dollar to have my vehicle inspected by the dealer, and then, they would have to look over everything and see if they wanted to cover my vehicle at that time.
He then asked me how much I can afford to pay today, but dont "insult thecompany by saying something like 25 dollars" wow, I cant afford to pay your company anything, I said. I felt like a criminal with all the accusations that were thrown at me. I can understand the fact that some people do dishonest things, but everyone is not in that same circle. Im sure others have experienced this with this company and Im just trying to make other consumers aware of what is going on. If you choose to do business with this company, make sure you have the money upfront to pay, I know thats hard to do when you dont know how much you're going to be cxharged, but US Fedelis doesnt care. And get everything in writting upfront.
Oh I forgot to tell you, when I did finally hang up the phone, the rep had the nerve to call me back, so I hung up the ohne again, and he called me back again. Ever since then, I have been getting telemarketing calls from them to try to get me signed up. I have told them 4 time to take m name off the list, we will see if I get another call. My next email is to the Federal Trade Commision, and the BBB.
