Ripped off by paying for parts that were under my car warranty

Cars & Transport

I brought in my 2003 Cadillac Deville because my engine light was on, they first told me it was a tune up and ignition coil need, when i took it in to be fixed they decided to change the spark plugs, fuel induction and a crank shaft sensor and charged me $430!!! The sensor was under my warranty, they never bothered to check and told me they don't care who pays them and that it was my responsiblity to check the warranty.

Had I known this ahead of time and had they contacted me about what they decided they would fix, I would have called. Picked up my car the engine light came on before i got home and the car drove no better! Took it back they then decided it was an O2 sensor. I took my car back to CarMax and had it fixed (over $1K of work and guess what... It was all under my warranty!!!) and none of the repairs consisted of an O2 sensor.

AAMCO couldn't produce any diagnostic readings to show why they fixed the crank shaft sensor, only a made up report about additional repairs. Jimmy the manager is not helpful and the owner Chris is even worse. I have reported them to BBB and everyone else I can find. They should be put out of business for treating customers the way they do and for the work that they don't do and charge people for it!!!
