Took Advantage of First Time Young Buyer

My 18 year old daughter went to buy her first car and since she didn't have any credit and I was at work, she went to White Sands Auto Sales, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She had $1,500 in cash and was eager to buy her first car without my help. When she was "directed" to a "decent" car by a salesman named Rick (was never given his last name even when I called and talked to the "manager.") She wanted to buy a 2000 Chevy Malibu. She called me at work all excited and I quickly looked on line to see the Kelly blue book value and told her NOT to buy the car it was a rip off (they wanted $5,999.) Kelly blue book was only $872 due to the high mileage (154,000) I told her to take it to my mechanics to have it checked out but the dealership wouldn't let her drive it off the lot by herself since she was only 18. She bought the car and quickly realized it had a lot of issues and tried to return it the very next day but they refused. I asked her if she had signed a contract and she said they made her sign some paperwork so I looked at it and almost passed out! This contract is totally unbelievable! First of all; she's not allowed to drive it out of the state, they can take the car back when ever they want—no questions asked, and they can increase her payments when ever they want. The tires are ALL bald but they just put air in them, the a/c didn't work so I had to pay to get it fixed because she is pregnant, you can turn the car on with ANY key, it is very hard to turn the car off and several times she had to actually disconnect the battery just to shut it off. The battery also went dead and she had to get a jump from someone. I tried to talk to the salesman but he wouldn't talk to me and actually hung up on me! Then I called the manager and he at first, didn't even say he WAS the manager then lied to me about the salesman.
BUYERS beware! This place is very shady and preys upon the young and naive!!! They also wouldn't supply her with a tag so we went to get one and was told (off the record) that this place was a rip-off. My daughter put $1,500 down on this car and pays twice a month and STILL she owes $4,000! That's impossible, especially since she bought the car in January and it's now June.
