In, TN Extended Service ripoff

Add Dobbs Ford Wolfchase in Memphis, TN to the First Extended Service ripoff businesses. Both your CA dealership and Dobbs are Ford dealerships. We purchased an extended warranty with the ford and when the drum in the automatic transmission broke the warrnaty was not honored due to the fact that we had not exclusively used Dobbs' Service Department for all of the
work that needed to be done.

From this experience I will never even consider buying a ford and I will never buy an extended service contract. This is the second time that I have had extended service folks pull this. I cannot find the paperwork on the first one.

I will be buying 3 cars in the next 18 months and not a one will be American made and not a one will have an extended service contract. I hate to be messing up the nation's balance of trade but American automobile manufacturers are out for one thing and they could care less ahout repeat business when compared to the quick buck.

Extended warranties are of zero value and are costly. I wish that the state attorneys general would go after these charlatans and put them out of business.
