14 yrs later, they're STILL at it?!? A big ripoff

Just Brakes ripped me off in 1989. I was just back from college for the summer and my car wouldn't pass inspection because the pads were low. I, being a naive young woman, thought that I had to have them replaced AT ONCE so my inspection wouldn't expire. I drove down the highway in a panic, looking for a place to have the brakes fixed. Low and behold, I saw a sign for "Just Brakes." They must have seen me and saw a sign that said "Sucker!"

By the time they were done, I was in tears, convinced I was lucky to be alive. They charged me $850 (in 1989!) to change the pads, grind the rear rotors and replace the front rotors. Yep, that's all they did. I, a broke college student, had to borrow the money from my mother, and it took me forever to pay it back!

I later talked to another mechanic who told me that it shouldn't have cost that much even to replace the ENTIRE brake system! Since then, I've made it my mission to tell anyone who will listen what a ripoff Just Brakes is.

Because at Just Brakes, they really doNOT care... About your money.
