Lied for two months, the car is still in the shop, payed in full, not returning calls

They rebuild the engine and give us a warranty, the car broke down two times; both times I payed for towing out of my packet, last time was returned to the shop TWO MONTHS a go, the car set on the lot for FOUR WEEKS before they even took a look at it. When they started to work on the engine they promissed every time I called "next week, will be ready" it's two months and I am about to explode. I am a mom with kids in school and a job. How can I go on?
