Heritage Acceptance Corp is a rip off!!! I urge any and everyone, if you could, please stay away from this finance company! I financed a 2002 with them in May of 08. To make a long story short, I went to try to trade the vehicle in and when they called for a payoff, Heritage quoted the dealership a payoff of $9100. The book value of this car is between $3500-$4000!!! This puts me in the hole $4000 - $5000 grand but they suppose to help us!!! Something has to be done about this!!! I dont think it's fair for them to get paid at least 2 on every vehicle that they sale!!! This is robbery and something has to be done!!! I refused to pay another dam dine on a car that's not worth anything!!! I refused to let them take advantage of another consumer!!!
