Contacted Best Transmission regarding getting my daughter's transmission fixed. Spoke to Rich who referred me to one of their contracted shops. Rich sent me a document that said my transmission would be repaired and we would only have to pay $1397.00 which included towing, tear down of transmission, transmission kit, reinstall. I got a call from the repair shop who was waiting on the parts. I called Rich and he asked did I receive their invoice, when I got the invoice the repair had jumped to 2735.36 which Rich states it's for the Torque Converter and Accumulator pistons.

I then contacted AAmaco who I faxed over their invoice and I was informed that the torque converter and accumulator pistons were a part of the rebuild. I was then asked by Rich how much would I like to pay for the repair when I told him $1397.00 he told me they could not do it for that price.

I contacted the NJ Attorney Generals Office, BBB, 6abcnews to expose these dogs as frauds
