AAMCO automatic Transmissions

I drove my 2001 Buick Century to AAMCO in Glendale, CA 1444. E Colorado St. Location. They told me to pay $85.00 for check my car and give me a repair cost estimate. I sign for $85.00 for inspection. After 3 days, Mr. John called me and said that transmission has several internal problems. I asked him what the charge for fixing my transmission is. He said we have to open it first to give you the repair cost. I asked him, will this cost more than $1500.00, and he said no. I told him if it will not cost more than $1500.00, then go head and start the repair. The next day, he called me and said that the case is bad and will cost $2700.00 to repair. I told him wait until I get there to see what is wrong. I took off early from my Job and went there. After all, we found out noting is wrong with he case and they can use the same case. He still asked me $2300.00 even use my own case. I asked Mr. John why he told me that will not cost more than $1500.00, and he said I did not say such a thing.

Today 04/04/09, I went to the shop and talked to Mr. John. He is a very unprofessional business man. He does not care at all about his customers. He asked me to pay $800.00 to take my car out of shop without fixing it if I do not agree to pay $2700.00. After we talk about the matter, he called Police for me. Office came, and he suggested me to pay the $800.00, and take my car out of shop. Then go and open a law sude on them.

As a consumer, I felt assaulted and rubbed. AAMCO shop totally was dishonest about fixing my car. They tried to over charge me since they have no business like before. I need you help to stop them from taking my money for doing nothing.

Now, they have to have my car assemble back again by tomorrow. I have to pay $800.00 to pickup my unfixed car and take it to another location to fix it. I feel so assaulted now. Please help me. Thank you
