U-Ride Motors Of Florida Dba Stephen's Enterprises Sells cars with mechanical problems and undersells then reposses due to their error. Ripoff business from hell

I purchased a 1998 Mazda 626 from U Ride Motors of Florida Inc. For $5,000.00 I gave a down payment of $2,500.00 and was given 90 days to pay the balance.

By the time all of the paperwork was done it was already late and I hadn't purchased the auto insurance for the vehicle so I had to leave the car and come back the next day.

So the next morning I purchased the insurance and went to the car lot to pick up the car and while driving the car it started to make a loud noise from the engine. I took the car back to the dealer and was told by the mechanic that the engine was blown on the car.

The manager of the lot advised me that the deposit was non-refundable and I could choose another car. At that time they didn't have a vehicle that interested me and he informed that they would be receiving a new shipment of vehicles in a couple of days.

I decided to come back. A couple of days had passed and I saw a 1996 Kia Sportage that I liked and after driving the vehicle I decided to purchase the car. The salesman informed that they had just recieved the car the day before and they didn't know the price so he went to asked the sales manager who informed me that the car was for selling for $ 1,799.00 and I thought was great that meant that I could purchase the car in cash since I had given a $ 2,500.00 deposit. I took the car and after the taxes and title fees there was a balance of $ 592.00 left and I was given 60 days to pay it.

After having the car for a week I awoke to find the car missing from my driveway I called 911 and they told me that the car had been repossessed so I went to the dealer and they told me that the car had been sold to me for the wrong price and that I needed to either pay the difference of $ 2,500.00 or choose another vehicle. Of course at that moment I was furious and requested that nmy monies be returned to me because after the first encounter with the Mazda I didn't want to by anything else and they refused to give me my money back so I called the police who came to the car lot and told me that they come to the lot at 4 times a week for the same incidents.

Either a car has been sold with a major mechanical problem or the dealer has ripped someone off of their money and the matter was considered to be a ciil matter and I needed to file a civil lawsuit. So after filing the lawsuit for $ 200.00 I am stuck renting a car at $325.00 a week because I cannot afford to buy another car until the court date which is a month away from now.
