Attention to Everyone thinking about buying from Chapman Jeep in Henderson

My girlfriend and I went in to the dealership and was looking at a 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Our first concern was that it did not have a back seat but the salesman assured us that they would put a seat in the back if we purchased. We test drove the Jeep and like it a proceeded with the purchase. After going over the deal we told the salesman that we only had 1000.00 down payment, which he stated that would be fine. And also added the backseat in the paperwork.

He leaves and comes back that we were approved and that there was some other details to pan out but he wanted us to go ahead and sign the full contract, we gave him the down payment of 1000.00 and work the deal out. This was on a Saturday and he would call us on Tuesday to let us know. Well we ended up needing to leave so we couldn't sign everything right then and there, the salesman calls us back on Tuesday only to say well we are going to need 1400.00 down and the back seat is no longer an option.

This upset us so we talked to a Sales Manager and he told us that he didn't care if we bought the car or not and we asked what happen with the orginal deal and he said that just happens, and my girlfriend asked what rip people off give them one deal and provide a different one and he said Yes we rip people off all the time and we can do this since we are in Vegas, he started laughing at my girlfriend and patronizing her. This really upset me and I have tried to speak to the General Manager and was unable to make contact with him and three seperate occassions. I know we may be a drop in the bucket but with business practises like this I recommend no one take their business to Chapman Jeep Chrysler in Henderson NV
